turn shape layers into text layer

Hi

I do logo animation based on Illustrator file. I converted all layers into shape layers. There is some text in original file, where each letter is separate layer, so now I have 4 shape layers of "HOME" word. I don't have original font. Is this posiible to group these for shape layers or convert them into text layer, so I could apply text animation? Or any other way I could do this?
