Two worlds flipped on each other effect?

So I've seen this effect before, but since the music video for Mi Gente is blowing up, it reminded me of it. I can't find a tutorial about it and don't really know what to search for it. J Balvin, Willy William - Mi Gente (Official Video) - YouTube​ It's right at the beginning, it's two drone shots, but one is flipped and then they're blended together I imagine.... but I just want to find a tutorial or something to make sure I'm right because I would like to give it a try eventually. Any info is appreciated, thanks!

    They are just two layers with one rotated by 180 degrees. Not sure hwat more you need to know. The layers are simply masked or even use a basic linear wipe to cut them in half in the middle.

    Yeah, ok, it just seemed WAY to simple... especially compared to some things I've done before so I'm just overthinking it.
