Unable to see my projects

Question

Hello and hope all is going well? I was trying to create a new motion monagram and the one that I normal use would not play, I can input the text and do everything but when I pressed play to view it was just black screen. However when I slide the bar thing across you can see it then but nothing viewing not sure why,,,,all of them are doing it in After Effects,

Standard answer: Update your system's graphics driver, check your hardware acceleration settings. anything more will require proper technical information about the project, your system, render settings, preview settings and so on which so far you haven't provided.
