Unable to use extensions in after effects

Hi. Apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere I can't seem to find an answer or resoltuion for my problem.

 

I've installed a few after effects extensions (lottiefiles and bodymotion) through the CC desktop app. When I click view > windows > extensions I can then select from these; as in they are appearing in the dropdown menu. Once clicked a small window opens up with the extension name, but there's nothing in this new window, so no way to use the extension. Am i missing something?

 

Im currently using after effects v17.6 & OS High Sierra 10.13.6 (thats the highest I can go on both).

Welcome to the community.

Try reinstalling the extensions. If that doesn't help, I'd suggest contacting the extension manufacturer and making sure that the extension is compatible with the version of After Effects you're using.
