Undocked Comp Panel Issues

I have spent the last week trying to figure out what is going on.  Searching the internet has not helped.  So here goes... When I have my comp undocked I cannot right click on keyframes and get the option window for ease in/out, easy ease.  I cannot click on the modes and switch them, I don't even get the window.  Now I can click the Toggle Switches/Modes button at the bottom and it will change the view.  If I have a Text layer and want to click the Animate arrow, I cannot.   I have a three monitor set up using an 27" iMac with a Thunderbolt display and the third monitor is the preview.  The comp panel is on one monitor the rest of AE is on another - I tried switching them, didn't help.  I've reloaded the software twice now, I called support and they had me reset my preferences thought that worked, but it didn't.  So here I am.  When I reset the workspace to "default" or "effects" where everything is on one monitor it works just fine, but if I undock the comp and try to change things... no dice.

This all started when I updated to OS High Sierra... yes I know bad idea, but I did it.  Thankfully I was in-between projects.

Info:

iMac (27-inch, Late 2013)

3.5 ghz Intel Core i7

32 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

NIVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M 4 GB

After Effects 2018

However this was going on before the AE 2018 update, when I un-installed AE I put the current version on thinking it would fix the issue.  For the time being I'm using one monitor and that seems to be working, but I need to get this resolved.  Any suggestions?

The After Effects update that came out last night (might take up to 24 hours to propagate to Adobe's servers around the world) fixes this issue. (And several others - it also adds some new functionality.)

It seems that a lot of users are getting this behaviour on dual monitor (or more than one monitor) setups with macOS High Sierra. As soon as you put all the windows in the main monitor, this problem dissapears. I think there is no solution right now

Thanks for the response.  That was what I was thinking.  Wondering now if I should roll back the OS to Sierra, or just deal with it for now.
