Unexpected motion curve behavior

Hi!

I'm not sure if this is a bug or if it's just how AE works, but I have 2 keyframes.

The first has no ease, the second one has a 100% ease in.
Does anyone know why there appears to be a slight curve on the first keyframe (see image)? I would expect there to be no curve there as I have not added any easing to that keyframe.
And then when I click keyframe velocity > change nothing > click OK, it changes the curve (see video)?

After Effects 25.1.0 (build 68)

Macbook Pro 16" 2021, M1 Pro, running Sequoia 15.3.1

Found the answer elsewhere:
"You’ll need to add easing to that first keyframe to get what you’re looking for. Because it’s linear, it’s effectively behaving as if it has a handle that follows the direct line between the two keyframes. When you change the keyframe velocity in your recording, you’re applying easing to that keyframe (by setting the handle to have a zero-length)."
