unknown layer in ae

Why when I import an illustrator that I saved into After Effects does it have this little blue icon and is unusable?

As Gutterfish Say's you need to uncheck import as sequences

Legend

You've imported as images sequences/ Re import and pay close attention the settings. Theres an option to import as sequence.
