URGENT!!! Shape layers leaving an imprint during rendering

This is a class assignment that is due tomorrow morning. I have it finished, but when I render it, it leaves and imprint of two of my shape layers in empty space on the stage.
I can't see this imprint in the preview, and have no idea how to fix it. I tried deleting and recreating the shape layers, changing the format and output options, and nothing seems to fix it.
Half my 'Z' is just showing up between layers, despite the layers not actually being there. I uploaded a video for this once again.

REALLY need this to be fixed, and quickly.

2 things you can try. 1 is to purge your cache. go to edit > purge > all memory and caches. sometimes pre-cached frames cause issues during renders and by purging before rendering you're forcing AE to re-draw everything. this can sometimes fix things.

if that doesn't work and you just gotta get it done:

render it lossless with the error in it. re-import the render into a new comp and drop in a solid and select the background color with the eyedropper in the "new solid" window. then just trim to the part that needs fixing, and export your final video.

it's sloppy but I've done it for client work in a pinch and no one notices.

I did the second one for the sake of time and that worked out. I'll try clearing the cache in the future and see if that fixes the issue.
