User Animation Presets didn't go with the update

Could you share which AE versions you moved from and to, and your OS?

Your presets should still be there. User Animation Presets are stored in a version-specific Documents folder, so when AE updates, the new version creates its own empty folder. You just need to copy them over.

Locate your old presets here:

- Mac: ~/Documents/Adobe/After Effects [old version]/User Presets/

- Windows: C:\Users\[username]\Documents\Adobe\After Effects [old version]\User Presets\

Copy the contents into the corresponding folder for your new AE version (same path, just with the new version number). Restart AE and your presets should appear in the Effects & Presets panel again.
