v24.2.0.19 - freeze issue

Freshly updated Ae Beta v24.2.0.19:

Project that worked fairly ok yesterday now freezes to semi-transparent white on timeline playback for long time.
1st time it didn't unfreeze and ended up in crash. 2nd time unfroze after approx. 10 seconds...

    I've installed the forementioned OpenCL from Microsoft Store and it definitely improved the playback.

      Windows or Mac? If Windows, please check in the Microsoft Store for the OpenCL compatiblity pack and if you have it installed, upgrade it to the latest version and see if that fixes the issue.
