VELOCITY GRAPH HELP

PLEASE HELP my velocity graph only moves along the X-axis (left or right) and won't move up or down if I'm editing a value graph and when I move to speed graph if I curve it even slightly the whole clip turns black. PLEASE HELP, I already put on easy ease by the way.

You are using the Speed Graph, not the value graph. Click over the Graph Type and options button and select Edit Value Graph. Check attached images
