WARNING! Private Relay won't let AE open properly

If you've recently upgraded to macOS' Montere, you might notice that some products like After Effects freeze and won't open properly. The solution is to turn off the "Private Relay" feature in your Apple ID preferences. I'm assuming Adobe is trying to reach its servers during start up and the new feature from Apple is blocking that, causing it to freeze or crash.
