Weird glitch when trying to preview

Hi,

I was making something in After Effects when I stumbled upon an issue that disallows me from playing my footage back. I press the space bar on my keyboard to play the preview, but instead the playhead backs up about a frame and my tool switches to the hand tool from the selection tool until I let go of the space bar.

I will give more information if needed.
