Weird problem with translucency

Hey folks,

Weird problem I have not seen before.

As  you can see in this simple example. A simple shape layer with a white box, 100% opacity.

But for some reason the shape layer with the red box under it can be seen through?

Any idea what could be causing this?

Found it myself just after posting. (moron)

There are multiple opacities in the hierarchy. For some weird reason the fill opacity was a bit off by default.

Ah shape layers.  Endless source of niggles to investigate.
