What happens at the end of 1yr subscripton?

Hi, I just purchased AE with a 1yr subscription paid monthly, I'll continue for the yr,

I know cancellation has to be within 14 days, but at the end of the yr do i get a notification for the subscription to renew for another yr?

Close to the end of the year, you get emailed a reminder notice, which includes the date the auto-renewal will happen on.

Mine comes from: notifications@adobe.com if you need to add it to your safe senders list.

I've never cancelled, but I imagine you can cancel at any time, it's just you'll lose access to the programs after your renewal date.  If you decide not to renew, I'd suggest uninstalling the software before the end date - I had to access something on an old computer, and as it was no longer licenced, I had a long drawn out issue involving upgrading to the latest version of CC, signing into it, just so I could then uninstall the software.  (I can't remember why I had to go through all that, it might have been to sign out of a 3rd party plugin)

    At the moment I'm quite happy with it, apart from sometimes it deciding not to play when I hit the spacebar,

    but my main concern is at the end of the yr, if I decide not to continue would my subscriptiion just get auto renewed & i would miss that 14 day deadline to cancel, hopefully as you say I'll get an email & I can take it from there when it comes to it, 

    (maybe I'll put i reminder in my calendar 😁)

    Setting your own reminders is defintely the way forward. 

    I got 5 months free AppleTV+ and the first thing I did was put in a cancellation reminder 😉 

    I don't know if you have the full CC subscription, but if you do, it might be worth looking at what apps you've been using.  Rather than cancelling completely, you can always drop to a single program like AE.  That's me saying this who couldn't manage without AE, Photoshop, Character Animator, Audition....
