when adding videos in after effects, the video turns green.

hello,
when i'm making a video and i'm going to add some element,
chomekey or even a footage, it is green, the audio can be heard but the video is green. (a colleague said it was something related to a processor update) I need it and I can't work thanks, Davi Soares - Brazil,

Thanks for writing in.

Looks like you're hitting a known issue. Sorry about that. The product team is working on a fix. The following workaround has helped users, please give it a try:

  1. Go to After Effects Preferences > Import and uncheck Enable hardware accelerated decoding.
  2. Go to After Effects Preferences > Media & Disk Cache and click on Empty Disk Cache and Clean Database & Disk Cache.
  3. Restart After Effects and import the MP4.

Same as always: Update your graphics driver, check your hardware acceleration settings.
