When I add solid, video turns duotone

Question

So currently I have solids (labeled Bkg, Bkg2, Bkg3) with an audio spectrum effect. I have multiple solids because I have cropped my video file as you can see in this image.

I need to create a base solid (not linked to any effect) to make sure my video renders with my desired color, yellow. But for some reason it turns the video duotone! It's fine for the first clip (layer 32) but for layers 31 and 29, it turns duotone. I have no idea why this is happening. See below for images.

Simple answer: Your hardware acceleration is breaking down. Check the settings, update your graphics driver, disable it entirely, buy new, more powerful GPU hardware - whatever would be your preferred fix.
