When I enable Motion Blur my clip gets lowered in Opacity

Hello! I'm somewhat new to After Effects and am having an issue.

When I enable motion blur on my clip it darkens the clip, my opacity is still at 100%. Its a strange issue that I have never had before and was wondering if there is a way to fix it. (I imported a random photo below as an example)
