When I try to enter a text string that is a dimension, Ae changes the order of the characters.

In order to display a text string that reads, 120'-6" I need to type 6-'120" . Is this a bug, or is there some setting that I'm unaware of regarding text entry?
Thank you!

Airweb_AE, thanks but that's not quite it. It has something to do with numbers. I just tried typing the line

FLOOR 1 = 1649

but had to type:

FLOOR 1649 = 1

Ah. I just found it. You pointed me to the right place. For some reason Hindi Digits was checked. Now it's unchecked and all is well!

You probably have the RTL (Right-to-Left) direction icon enabled.

Look at Paragraph panel.
