when i try to fixed mask path on an animated layer it always move away from its position

    To add another option to Andrew's solution, you can use Effect>Distort>Transform to animate Transform Properties without affecting the Mask Path. For this option to work, you will also have to enable Compositing Options for the  Transform Effect. HTH

    Masks are attached to the layers to which they are applied.  So if you draw a mask on a layer and then move the layer's position, you also move the mask.

     

    If you want the mask to remain static while the layer moves independently, create a Solid layer above the original layer, apply the mask to the Solid layer, and use the Track Matte functions of the original layer to define the masked layer as a matte.

    I was watching a tutorial , when i copy him that what happened ,so i wonder if there is a problem with keyframe or something like that ?
