Why can't we have timeline folders?

Just seems like an easy win when people keep asking for it. It's just basic functionality really.

Nested Compositions with and without Collapsed Transformations, Adjustment Layers, Cameras, Lights
Masks
Effect > Transform
Effects with Masks and Compositing Options
This includes all 3rds Party Effects

It’s a huge task and it’s doable as Workflower has shown.

There is at least one other alternative with less work, with backward compatibility and will provide even better functionality (IMO but I could be wrong ;-) ) but I doubt TeamAE is interested. They have lots of other solutions to provide - just look at their replies to this and similar threads.

I understand. But as the expert pointed out, this isn't a small tweak or a new feature — it would be a major change to the base code. That said, I'd suggest trying to get more votes on the request to help it stand out.

I asked this years ago. I was told by one of the people on the team it would take a rewrite of the way the Timeline works.

I'm so sick of that excuse from Adobe. How long do they think they can get away with not making any changes? Also I don't really believe them since Workflower does this, but I don't want to rely on extra apps as I work in a team
