Why footage interpretation is Rec 709 by default ?

Hi, 

Each time i import footages into my project , the default interpretation is set to Rec 709.

Most of the time, it shouldn't be converted as so. When I have a lot of footages to handle, i have to check this and change my interpretation to "preserve RGB" for every footage.

To avoid that, is there any way to change the default after effect's media interpretation ? That would be hell of a time saver !
