Why in the newest versions of After Effects the Effect Control Panel is so laggy?

When i import a Plugin its take a lot of significant time, almost crashes every time and affect my workflow. Idk if a thing of the plugin, i did something wrong or what i thing and its most likely its a baaad performance in these new versions. I hope someone can help me.

What do you mean when you say "import a plugin?" That's not a workflow for After Effects. You can install plug-ins to use when you launch After Effects, you can import presets, existing projects, or footage, but not plug-ins.

Please provide specific details about which version of AE you're using and exactly you're doing and which plug-in you're referring to. Without detail, nobody can help troubleshoot performance issues.
