Hi,

I am using ae render cli to render videos on a server and the time taken by ae render is very slow compared to directly rendering the unit on after effects. Directly takes 2 seconds and ae render takes 13-15 seconds. Is there anything i am doing wrong that is slowing down the time using the cli tool? And is there anything that can be done to improve the render speed of the template itself, currently the template just has an image with a basic animation

Specs of the server: Windows server 2012 r2, 16 GB ram, intel xeon 2.4 Ghz octa core.

This is the template that i am using: https://inmobi-rm-app.s3.amazonaws.com/CreativeUploads/test/AE/v1/template3.aepx

Hi vivek-inmobi,

After updating After Effects, are you still seeing this issue? Let us know.

Thanks,
Kevin

You are a victim of After Effects' extremely shoddy code writing.

It can PREVIEW some things very quickly, but it is unable to export/render the very same composition for use in other applications.

Why does Adobe do this?  Adobe management could care less about basic functioning of the application.  It is more concerned about creating new features to attract new renters.
