Question

Will this build handle heavy After Effects 2026 rendering without choking?

Hello community,

I am planning to upgrade my workspace setup and looking to buy a pre-built configuration to avoid assembly issues. I found this specific build locally: https://nextlevelpc.ma/pc-gamer/98158-pc-gamer-amd-ryzen-7-5700x-rtx-5070-12g.html

My main concern is RAM preview performance and multi-frame rendering in AE. The specs list a high-end CPU and GPU, but I want to make sure the motherboard/chipset won't bottleneck complex compositions with multiple heavy expressions and 4K assets.

Has anyone run a similar setup from this site, or noticed any compatibility quirks with Adobe's latest dynamic link updates on these specs? I want to make sure it's stable before making the purchase. Thanks!

Hi Elmoui3, if I were buying this build, I'd swap the CPU for one with more cores and go with more RAM - budget allowing, of course.

We can't endorse specific retailers, but Puget Systems (https://adobe.ly/44gPSJU) publishes detailed benchmarks and tested build configurations for After Effects. It's a great resource for figuring out which specs actually pay off, even if you don't buy from them.

Community experts here may also weigh in with their own views. Hope that helps!

    Thanks,

    Nishu

    Thanks for the advice, Nishu!

Good point on the core count. Luckily, this local shop allows customization on their pre-builds before assembly. I checked the page again and I can actually upgrade it to a higher core CPU and bump the RAM up to 64GB or 128GB directly through their config option.

I'll check out those Puget Systems benchmarks right now to see exactly which processor upgrade option makes the most sense for AE 2026's multi-frame rendering. Much appreciated!
