so I've been working on a short intro for a video and I found this dude who does cool particle intros. So i was working on it and as a newbie i screwed up but one of the things i did is instead of creating particles to blow away, what happened was that the image was black and white then linear wiped to color. So the image comes on the screen black and white then in a line like it was moving into light it gets its color wiped on it. What did i do and how can i replicate what i just did? i tried but i'm not sure what i did.

Select all your layer & tap U to reveal all the keyframed properties.   Then look for any keyframes that line up with the wipe.  That's likely your culprit.
