Won't let me Import .c4d files in AE

Whenever i try to import cinema 4d files it says AEGP Plugin CINEWARE SceneLayer: CINERENDER - Connection failure (5027 :: 12)

Im using after effects cc 2017

Can you show us a screenshot of your Cinema 4D settings in AE?

Also, check that your firewall allows connections through the port that's in the Cineware settings.

Also, what antivirus/anti-malware software are you using?
