Would After Effect 2020 run perfectly on this computer?

Hello, first of all thank for your probable answers! My question is, would After Effect 2020 run fluidly on a gaming laptop with these characterestics : 

Processor Intel I7 9th generation 

RAM 16 GO

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 With 6 GB GDDR6
512 GB SSD hard drive

And be prepared to work with the power supply connected as the processor will throttle down on battery power.

AE will run on this hardware, but if it's fluidly is rather a question of your definition of fluidly and the things you are going to do in AE.

 

It's usual that even on high end working stations AE needs minutes to preview render some seconds the composition at 1/4 resolution and skipped frames - if the composition is complex and containing heavy duty effects.

 

In general, a laptop cpu is always limited in comparsion to a desktop cpu and 16GB RAM is critical low for serious AE work. If it has to be a laptop, keep in mind that you are trading mobility for caluclation power and you might go from fluid to viscous.
