Yet another curves effect bug

In this efect, your cursor somehow changes on its own to a pencil when keyframing the effect, and you can no longer change the entire line as there is no button to turn the pencil back to a cross so you can move the entire line.

Anyone else experience this?  I sent Adobe a bug report on it, perhaps there is a current workaround.

      If we are talking about standard AE curves effect then are you sure that there is no button to change from pencil?
      Show us a screenshot of your Curves effect. It should look like that:

      I bump into this problem to occasionally. Yes you can toggle with the buttons, but the left butten give your curves all these extra points. What iif you just want the original curve?
