Your system has run out of application memory when I use content-aware fill

Dear All,

 

I have a 4K 360 video and the length is 1 min 30 sec. I'm using content-aware fill to do subtracting the Masking area by After Effects. However, It will get frozen the After Effects process with error message from Mac Computer even it's processed against the 15 sec of work area. So, I will have to make the length of work area to be short such 13 sec. There is no consistency on the issue even it's same point in the place and the length. The point is in the narrow street in the Japanese typical hotel. Even I have update After Effects, It happens again and again. I have never done content-aware full function against full length of the video.

 

Error message from Mac Computer : Your system has run out of application memory.

 

Mac Computer Specification ;
SDD : 1TB (200 GB remaining)
Memory : 16 GB
After Effects Disk cache : 100GB

 

Could you provide me information how to fix the issue?

    Thanks for writing in and sharing the details.

    After Effects is typically used on short clips, but that doesn't mean that After Effects can't process a 1 min 30 sec. It can, but you might have to split it into segments as you're already doing. Especially with the resource-intensive features like the one you're using. Also, your computer doesn't meet the minimum system requirements for 4K footage.
