AE Beta 17.1 crashes as soon as I click on the app

I updated After Effects Beta to 17.1 and upon clicking on the interface it crashes and saves a crash project to my Documents. I tried resetting my prefs to see if that would solve the issue but got the same result. It worked fine before the update.

Hi JAkalaonu,

 

Sorry to see you're experiencing this crash on startup. Does the Crash Reporter dialog show up after the app has crashed? If so, please make sure to submit that report, preferably with your email and a brief description of what happened.

 

Try holding ⌘ + ⌥ + ⇧ while starting After Effects (Beta) to reset the preferences and see if the crash is avoided.

 

Do you have any third-party plug-ins installed? Either in the Plug-ins folder next to the After Effects (Beta).app in the Applications folder or in /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/7.0?
