Audio levels meters no nothing during playback

Question

Another playback issue with 22.1.1x62:Whenever I preview a comp with audio, the audio meters do absolutely nothing. The audio plays ok (well, it always goes very out of sync with the picture) whether I do a spacebar or Numpad . (audio only) playback - but no audio meters. However, if I ctrl-drag the CTI, to do an audio scrub, the meters display the levels normally.So whatever playback bug was around a few releases ago is back with a vengeance.

Hi @hellopaul4,Thank you for reporting this issue. The Audio meters appear to be working for me  using Windows 10 and AE Beta 21.1.1.68. When build 68 is available in the Creative Cloud app, would you give this a try again and see if the Audio Meters are working again? If not, then there must be some other factor at play which is preventing them from working in your setup that we'll investigate further. Thanks again,- John, After Effects Engineering Team
