Exposure Control Reverted

We heard you.

 

The great thing about having a Beta community is getting to test out new ideas and see if they work as expected. When we updated the Exposure control UI to be consistent with other newer controls in our composition toolbar, we ran user tests and read the feedback. In this case, the benefit of consistency is not proving useful compared to the extra clicks it required. And so, as of today's Beta (build 22.3.0 x35), we are reverting the Exposure control to its original layout.

Thank you so much for your continued feedback, it really does matter.

    I would like to add a suggestion for the viewer controls (hope it's okay to put it here):

    a welcome addition to the Exposure control would be a Gamma control (like for example Nuke has it).
    Super helpful to check alphas while keying etc.
