[Fixed via v17.1.2] Expressions don't accept Marker Names anymore

In the past, Markers could be accessed simply by their name. This stopped working in the Beta unfortunately.

This previously worked:

var sTime = marker.key("Start").time;

Now I have to call the Marker by it's index:

var sTime = marker.key(1).time;

Is this a temporary Beta hiccup, or is this actually a new bahaviour?

Thanks.

Hi Lars,

Yes, we've had it reported elsewhere as well. I've added the info to the internal ticket, thank you for the follow up!

Hi IL_JI,

Thank you for trying out the Beta and for reporting this issue. This is a bug and not an intended behavior. We are now tracking this issue internally as DVAAE-4215268 and this thread will be updated when a fix is available.

Thanks again for trying out After Effects (Beta)!

Hey John,

it seems like you shipped this bug even in the official release now..?
As another user states: https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects/expressions-like-quot-marker-key-quot-name-quot-quot-now-do-not-work/m-p/11224737?page=1#M115431
