object matte tool.

hi everyone i really need help with object matte tool. ive done everything possible and nothing is working. im on mac m4 pro. as you can see im in the layer comp, resolution is on full, frame rate is the same, ive tried literally everything. the view: mask doesnt come up as object matte either. i click and my ae just freezes and crashes. im on the newest version of after effects btw.
