Please add a keyboard shortcut to switch between “Tool creates Shapes/Masks” for the new indicator

It would be great if users could change the behavior to create shapes or masks with the Pen or Shape Tools selected on the fly with a keyboard shortcut instead of moving the cursor up to the tool bar. Maybe with the ALT/OPT key as a modifier. In case of the Pen Tool the ALT key is problematic – so maybe SHIFT or CMD/CTRL?  Thank you!
