Preview taking a few seconds to start for seemingly no reason only on one project.

For some reason, when i try to begin playing the preview, it takes a few seconds before it starts playing, after which it plays fine. It seems to have something to do with the size of the project. I have a lot of stuff in it, however I am in an almost empty precomp (all it has is music), so there is no reason this should be happening.

I tried restarting after effects, my pc, playing it on another project (where it works without problems) and removing everything from the comp, deleting disk cache, ect. Any suggestions on how to fix it?
