Hi all,I am trying to develop an app which can wake the phone from sleep, I am just developing for a single phone for an installation so I have more controls over the settings. A little more background info:- The phone will always be running my app (locked in kiosk mode)- By default, the screen will be off- I will push a message to the app via sockets- The screen needs to turn onSo far, I have googled around and only managed to find discussions on keeping the screen on but nothing on turning on the screen. Does anyone know any code / native extensions that can achieve this?Many thanks.

I tired using openssl to extract the private key and cert then recreate the certificate file.But the new built apk files will be rejected by google for "certificate changed".

I am building an mobile app for Android. One of our features enables users to import existing images using the CameraRoll() Class from the Photo Gallery.On Kit Kat and below, this works great.On Lollipop vs. 5.0.2, I get an ERROR - "no apps can perform this action".Is there any way around this?

Hi,Is it possible to publish an iOS with the new icons sizes (120px..) with Flash CS6?Flash removes the new icon sizes from the app.xml every time I publish my app.Is it possible to prevent this?I tried to set the app.xml to read-only but then the app will not publish.Thanks

I have an android app developed using adobe AIR SDK 16 and Flash CS6. Every time i publish/debug the app directly in the connected device. But every time i publish the app the data(image, text files) saved in the application storage directory including the sqlite file is removed. Hence i have to recreate all the data again to test. Is there a way to install/public an apk without losing the data created by the installed app? I tried with changing the version number. And i am using the same certificate.

I get the following error message: An error occurred while installing Adobe AIR. Installation may not be allowed by your administrator. Please contact your administrator. I am the admin and have never had this message before, Please help so I can get this installed. It won't install using IE, Chrome, or Firefox!

I'm using AIR16 Beta, Flash CC 2014, iOS SDK 6.1 and get this error while packaging my .ipa file... I have one flex mobile application (however I'm not sure if this is not an Adobe AIR for Android bug)It works fine on Android without "word prediction activated" and also with "word prediction activated" an a device with 240 DPI however my application is designed to work on a 120 DPI device and with word prediction activated and on this scenario, the app crash while typing text on a TextInput.Steps to reproduce:1. Have any of you managed to bring up CameraUI set to the front camera on iPad or iPhone? I know how to select the front camera when using the regular Camera class, but I'm referring to the CameraUI class, the native iOS interface for taking a photo.Thanks.

Hi, this could be an old bug, we're seeing a problem with AIR 15 and 16 on only this particular newish HTC Android (4.2.2) phone. Our app uses GPU renderMode. The problem happens if you have a masked MovieClip with children that have children that are also masked, then only the first masked child renders. All other non-masked objects also render, but if any one of them has a mask, then that one will not render. This problem does not happen on an older HTC One X and HTC Desire 610 running the same Android version (4.2.2). It also does not happen on iOS or Google Nexus 4.Thanks for your help!

hi, i found the same issue, i use fb4.7 and package ios app.(doesn't use adt tool),if i don't add param -useLegacyAOT yes, the app will crash on phone.(with air15.0.328 beta).i found maybe Sound.play crash app.When i add -useLegacyAOT yes,it will run well,but package time is too long.Someone can share some light about this issue?

I'm developing an app for iphone. the test version can publish to iphone 4/5, by the flash cs6 deployment. But every time I want to deploy it on new iphone 6+, it gave me "Error creating files.Uninstallation Error: APIInternalError.Device Error: please check if there is enough space on the device."My iphone 6+ is 64GB version, which still has a lot of space.AIR deployment always returns not enough space error for any error. Could it return some accurate error information?

Dear Adobe CommunityThe company I work at is running into an old problem again we enquired about 2 years ago. We create multitouch software for large screens connected to desktop computers. This means multiple users can be active on the same screen. The problem we have is that a lot of touches eventually result in queueing of the touch points. The program then goes through all the touches at it's own pace. This results in the user feeling disconnected with the software, as it is going through touches that happened a while before.For the past years, as hardware moved forward, the problem was in most cases not noticeable anymore. The previous tips we got were about making chances to improve the overall performance so the program would not start queueing the touch points. However, we are now running into this problem again. Our program is targeted at children. And children are not subtle like grown ups in handling the screens. So the program gets to process lots of touchpoints. Theoretica

I just upgraded to AIR16 and can no longer compile for the ios app store from Windows 7.Calling "adt -package -target ipa-test ..." with AIR16 works correctly, installs and runs on my device.Calling "adt -package -target ipa-app-store ..." with AIR16 crashes the compiler with this generic error:Compilation failed while executing : compile-abcCalling "adt -package -target ipa-app-store ..." with AIR14 (and the new compiler, not legacy) works correctly.How do I get more information about what is happening? I have no ANEs. Could this have something to do with the new 64-bit requirements? My version of Java? With provisioning profiles? What else is different between test and app-store compile modes?

I am trying to build a mobile adobe air application that uses PDFTron to view, annotate and save pdf files. Does anyone have any experience with this? Is it possible? Is there an ANE out there somewhere?

Windows 7 system.Current AIR version installed in all workstations: 16.0.0.245Downloaded 16.0.0.273 installer from http://www.adobe.com/products/air/runtime_distribution3.html. Extracted MSI file (using WinZip). Whenever I run the MSI file the following message is shown:"Another version of this product is already installed. Installation of this version cannot continue.."If I run AdobeAIRInstaller.exe file, it will install OK and upgrade to latest version.Using ORCA I checked that PROPERTY/PRODUCT CODE is displaying same GUID than current installed version .245. That could be the reason why is showing the error message.I downloaded the installation file several times with same results.I changed the GUID (last digit) to make it different than current installed version, but shows different error.Any ideas how the MSI file can be fixed? or maybe ADOBE need to make the changes in the GUID?

This is a known issue in a public release. Which means any app that switches orientation becomes unusable.Although the line above in the release notes is not that descriptive. The bug happens on iOS only and when switching from any orientation to the other.What does this bug mean?It means that currently any app that switches rotation dynamically cannot still be published on the AppStore.Hope this gets fixed soon.

Hi, all. I have several apps on the Amazon App Store but no longer think it's worth the effort updating them/adding new ones, considering that App Store (IOS) and Google Play pays off way way more. So, what's your experience with Amazon?

Android application developed with flex is not working in jellybean version. It is working in other versions of android.Any workaround or solution for this issue?

I catch the built In webcam (iSight...) with Camera.getCamera() and apply it to a Sprite on the stage. All works fine when I run the app using "control+enter" in Flash CS4.But when I install the published AIR package and run the standalone AIR app it crashes at Camera.getCamera() videoContainer.attachCamera(camera) and the usual windows error message appears. VideoContainer is a object from the class Video. any idea?

I am having issues with the "-useLegacyAOT no" (now default) and iOS apps. Under SDK 15 using "-useLegacyAOT yes" no issues. With SDK 16 the app has issues with many things, for example datagrid/list skins don't work - if you manually skin using setRendererStyle, it seems ALL the skin states are using the Selected skins, and the upSkin state uses the selectedUpSkin skin as far as I can make out (in tests this seems to be the case). Another is the app becomes unresponsive to touch on returning from cameraRoll, camera to take a picture or video to record a video - my app is full screen, when it returns from one of these, it is no longer full screen (the top info bar is visible), and I am using stage.displayState = StageDisplayState.FULL_SCREEN_INTERACTIVE when returning from these calls,  which worked under the legacy AOT. Since the app is unresponsive, the only option is to reboot the iphone and restart the app - not really an option.
