Getting below error while creating the Adobe AIR build. Did anyone face this kind of an issue?  

Does someone know the maximum supported resolution of a connected cam that Air can handle? I used OBS Virtualcam with WQHD 2560-1440 and Air reported max values of 1920-1080FHD. Thanks in advance!

Getting tired of this message. And rather irritated that this Adobe air seems so riddled of bugs to get something so seemingly easy to run which is supposed to replace flash player...what a laugh. I have windows 7 home edition, adobe 3.0.0.4080. Any of the installers from the https://get.adobe.com/air/ page all result in this error. Be it 32x or 64x. Other than simply forgetting anything that requires this app to run I have no idea what to do at this point. The online chat was useless to help, and the game site admins have had no idea what to do to fix this either.

Hello, I have installed the Harman sdk, and now when i try to install/run a movie that was developed with that sdk, i get the following error "Sorry an error has occured.This application requires an update to Adobe AIR that is not available for your system.Please view the system requirements for Adobe AIR and update your system accordingly." I have uninstalled adobe air, re-installed it etc, tried running it as a windows.exe and an .air and get the same error message regardless. I have tried it on 2 different computers and no luck, but all my old air created files still work perfectly, only the new ones created with Harman wont work. Running windows 10, nothing out of the ordinary.

Does anyone know if I build Adobe Air into a project so it doesn't need the separate runtime will the builtin runtime refuse to run after the end of the year, similar to what the Flash Player is going to do? I'm having some issues getting Harmans SDK working at the moment, and just wondering if I can buy myself sometime, or if it's a do or die situation.

Some years ago I used the MilkmanGames Admob ANE and it was very easy to integrate it to my apps and make banners and interstitials work. Then they stopped updating their ANEs. Two years ago I began to use the Admob ANE from Distriqt. It was a little harder for me to make it work because it required more coding and I don’t know much about code. But I was able to keep showing banners and interstitials on my apps with their Adverts ANE. Then; in the recent months it got really complicated for me to integrate the updated Admob ANE from Distriqt to my apps. There is much more code required and the samples given in their support pages are not completely correct. Hi all,I have an application has both air and flash client.  It sends http request to server using URLLoader, but because of long server processing time, air client times out while flash client has no issue even using same server code. I think this is because browser has longer request time out. I am using air SDK 3.1. How do I increase the client time out? It's time we got access to basic hardware functionality and new api's without the need for ANEs If a phone gets a new sensor, or a new library, we shouldn't have to buy an ANE or make one now that an old one we bought or made no longer works; especially when we've already paid to license AIR. I'm not saying we should do away with ANEs I'm saying we shouldn't have to have them for basic functionality. Example 1: I have to make my own ANE to allow pen support.  That's ludicrous. Example 2: using thumbprint and iris scan sensors still need an ANE ... when the underlying apis haven't cbanged too much In several years? Example 3: augmented reality toolkits on ios and android have been available for a while now, but we have to wait until someone who knows how to use them makes an ane? Etc... I could go on, and you know this is stuff we should just have access to without needing to pay extra for an ANE or devote extra development time kn our end to crea

Is it possible to position a PopUp from WITHIN the PopUp? I have a desktop app that has to deal with a user resizing the app on the screen. Most buttons and graphical elements I can move and resize to fit on the screen appropriately using an Event.RESIZE listener for the component. But my app has a ton of popUps to let a user know if there is an error, to handle account information, etc. When you create a center-positioned PopUp, it does not reposition itself as the app is resized. So when a popup hears the Event.RESIZE event, I wonder if there is a way for a popup to move itself instead of doing it from outside the PopUp using the popupmanager? Any ideas if a PopUp can be moved from WITHIN the PopUp?

Hi, We have found an issue that randomly happens with some of our SQL queries in our application.  There are some queries that attach the name of the alias of the table to the column name even when there aren't two columns with the same name in the result. As you can see in the example we are giving you (debugger snapshot and query snapshot). Long story short: We don't want that these "SAP_YEAR_MONTH" and we want just "YEAR_MONTH" as the query states. Funnily, it doesn't happen in other similar queries that we have, with the same columns and aliases. We have tried to force  columnNameStyle  to "SHORT" in the SQLConnection we are using, but it still happens. We are using the latest versions of HARMAN AIR SDK and it's happening in all of them. Can you give us a solution?  Thank you very much. 

I am writing a desktop AIR application, and I have a spark List whose purpose is to display images with some statistics embeded in them. The problem that I am running into is that the scroller in the List is covering some of the statistics on the edge of the image and part of a button. I assumed in Flex/AIR that scrollbars would lie outside of the content, or that content would be rescaled and displayed so that the content is not affected by the scroller. Apparently I am wrong. Is there a method or property that can be set on a List to force the scroller to lie "outside" of the content? Thanks!

I'm desperate here -- I have no idea why I can't get this to work, but I really need some help...I've tried writing a custom QR-Code reader app for iOS and Android, and I can't get any app any where to recognize a QR-Code...It *seems* to run OK, but it just never decodes any data -- always comes back with "nothing decoded" if it comes back at all...I've tried the  ZXing library available on Google, and I've tried the one at LibSpark.org.  Neither of them will ever detect a QR-Code, and the ZXing library runs so incredibly slowly that it's useless anyway -- 7 to 10 seconds to process one image and tell me there's no QR-Code in there, when I know full well there is?  Ridiculous!So, has anyone out there actually gotten a QR-Code reader app to work successfully?  One where you DON'T have to "click" a button to take a picture, but where it will simply scan the video input and will auto-detect when a QR-Code is in the video frame?If so, I'd REALLY like to ask you how you

Has anybody put together a tutorial on publishing a Flex/AIR application for distribution as an OSX desktop app, either through Mac App Store or just using the Developer ID certificate?In my time as a Flex developer, I've seen some things documented well and some that you had to dig for, but finding clear instructions on this is really difficult! I would have thought publishing your Flex/AIR app as a stand-alone (captive runtime) application either through the Mac App Store or to users directly (signing with an Apple Developer ID certificate) would be something many people are trying to do. But most of the helpful posts out there are dated or incomplete as well as being specifically targeted towards iOS. Furthermore, each time the AIR SDK changes it seems many of the past posts are no longer valid at some step.Big thanks for anybody who can provide pointers or suggestions!

I wrote a mobile app. I am now converting it to desktop. I basically just created a new desktop project and copied all of my files into it from the previous mobile project. Pretty much everything is working as I expected except for one thing, none of my button skins will respond to a MouseOver event. I have set up a test with one of the buttons, and on "MouseOver", it does trace out that it was affected, so the MouseOver event is working. But NONE of my button skins that have an over state are showing it. It is as if the entire app thinks that it is on a mobile device still where there is no "over" state. I have looked over the application descriptor and seen nothing out of the ordinary. I am using a couple of mobile components in the app, so I don't know if that can force an app into thinking it is a mobile device. But I have wasted two days trying to figure this out. Does anyone have a clue why my desktop app skins will not respond to a mouseover event? Anyth

Really seem stuck with this error message but every time I package my Android app with the latest version of Animate and Harman’s Air 33.1.1.3.00 Animate keeps throwing up this message the moment it transfers the published APK file to any Android device I have connected: :The device has encountered an unexpected error. Failure [INSTALL_FAILED_NO_MATCHING_ABIS: Failed To extract native libraries, res=-113] The app runs perfectly using Animates ADL tool starting with Harman’s Splash Screen. The app had been around for about four years in its 32 Bit form. I am writing my first desktop app with AIR using Flex. I have created my own chrome with minimize, maximize, and gripper buttons, but the TitleBar in the chrome is overlaying some of my content at the top of the screen. I assumed that the chrome would be "outside" of the applications, and the stage would lie under it. Is this not the case? Do I have to manually figure out the dimensions of the rest of my stage/content to accomodate the title bar dimensions, or is there a setting that will force the chrome to lie "outside" of the stage?

I have a mobile app that I am attempting to move to a desktop app. It uses a grid that was made for mobile called the ns:MobileGrid Although the spark grid is much more powerful, I do not need the power and would like to simply use the mobile grid if at all possible. All of the code is already written but I am getting an error in IntelliJ that simply states: "Could not resolve <ns:MobileGrid> to a component implementation" I have been using Flash Builder most of my life, and things just "worked". I feel like IntelliJ might be missing a swc or library that is needed for this component, but I don't know how to find it. Any thoughts on how I could get this working on a desktop?

Why isn't Harman distributing a browser or an AIR application which continues to support Flash? There are millions of games all over the internet that are ready to be a part of a new eco system, professional businesses have invested millions into applications which they will never rebuild, and soon there won't be any way to run them.If Harman helps users upgrade their Flash games and applications to work in AIR, or in an AIR browser, they could have an application store with millions of apps within a year.Harman is now holding these developers and business owners hostage, asking up to $25,000 a year for a browser that will allow them to continue using their application. Hi, I'm running one NetStream and it's ok. After a few seconds, I create a new NetStream to load a new video in pause (videos are local). The problem is that the second Video is shown with a lot of lag when it play, but when it finishes and loads again the first NetStream runs very well (it can be another video). What can be? I have a real estate app on mobile that I am trying to port over to desktop platforms. Maps are vitally important to real estate, and I cannot get StageWebView to work with Google Maps. My understanding is that if you create a StageWebView instance set to true, then it should not use AIR's old webkit but the system web service provided by the OS. Let me know if that is incorrect.
