Ever since I am active in this community I was wondering over the weird way the Flash/Air runtime forums are scattered through the Adobe community site. There is the Air Channel:AIR Development AIR Bugs and Performance IssuesTechnical forums in the Animate CC Channel:ActionScript 3 ActionScript 1 and 2 Adobe Scout Developer forums in the Flash Player Channel:Flash Runtime Announcements (this is the place where new Air SDKs are announced)The Air / Flash Beta Channels:Flash Player Beta Channel AIR Beta Channel All these forums are clearly interesting for anyone working with Flash / Air / AS3, but it is very easy to miss the existence of them if you end up in one of the channels. Content of the Air Development and AS3 forums specifically is very similar and could easily be joined. I also think this is part of the problem why the Flash / Air dev community is so scattered. Is there any chance to reorganize the channels and put these forums into one channel to increase the visibility of thes

Dear Friends,Greetings! iam creating an app using Air. i have 2 buttons in it. when user click on each button it has to download respective zip files from site and unzip to the local system. iam using Fzip to unzip and "fileStream.writeBytes(data_val, 0, data_val.length);" for copying zip files to local.i can download files and unzip to local system successfully.When iam downloading 100mb any number of time its working fine. When iam downloading 500mb files, first time its downloading and unzipping fine, second time onwards it is not downloading giving following error.Error: Error #1000: The system is out of memory. at flash.net::URLStream/readBytes() at flash.net::URLLoader/onComplete()please help me to solve this..Thanks in Advance,Syed Abdul Rahim
we are getting complains from customers that with Latest Adobe AIR 26 drag and drop does not work in Mac.Is anyone seeing the same issue?regardsSean
Hello,As the topic say, I did several tests comparing the same Desktop App published with AIR 25 32 bits versus AIR 25 64 bits.This app have 7 MB SWF file size, more than 200 views and more than 250 models.The heaviest task takes about 500 MB ram (exporting a large report with more then 100 pages to PDF on client side).The app takes exactly the same amount of time on 32 and 64 bits on all tested tasks and I didn't saw any behaviour diference, so from my tests about 64 bits version I consider good to go BUT soon I will use my first Desktop ANE, so supporting ANE's it's a mandatory requirement.Regards,Hugo.

I made a videogame with Scratch's offline editor a while ago and saved it on a flashdrive. My cousins who are visiting are also making a videogame of their own, and would like to see mine. I tried opening up the game, but it said it required it's native application, which in this case is adobe AIR. No problem, right? I went to their download link: Adobe - Adobe AIR and clicked download. I own a Mac, english, chrome, as specified on the page. I clicked on it, and it said it would download shortly, and a few seconds later it took me to a "this site cannot be reached" page. Under that it said, airdownload.adobe.com’s server DNS address could not be found.Try running Network Diagnostics.DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAINI ran diognostics, but it was no use... it said I had working internet connection, but it couldn't find the site. I cannot download the archived versions of adobe such as SDK because it won't be the right version to open the Scratch application.I honestly have no idea what i

A few weeks ago Adobe Air is running perfectly on my computer.I must have it because the software "Goalscape" is using Adobe Air.Then i get an update for goalscape, but evvery time i try to install the update, it doesn`t work.The message from the programm was, that i have to install a newer version of the runtime software Adobe Air.So i try this, but it does`nt work. I delete Adobe Air completly und try to install it new. But that does`nt work.My question. I am migrating from air sdk 22.0 to 26.0. On iOS, the <s: Scroller> tag is not a mobile scroller, but appears as a PC Scroller (scroll bar is visible). How do you handle mobile scrolling? Each time an air sdk migration occurs, the existing components are slightly changed or incompatible, making migration very difficult.

Hi,I would like to create a P12 certificate to publish my AIR iOS app for a beta test.This is from the Adobe docs:You can now generate a valid P12 file, based on the key and the PEM version of the iPhone developer certificate:openssl pkcs12 -export -inkey mykey.key -in developer_identity.pem -out iphone_dev.p12Does it needs to be a developer certificate or is an ad-hoc certifcate working too?Thanks
Apple recently released iMessage "Sticker Packs" with iOS 10, which can either be delivered as standalone apps for the iMessage store, or can be bundled as an Extension within an iOS app. Bundling the stickers within your app is in interesting feature, since your app users will automatically get the stickers when they download or purchase your app. From what I understand, making the sticker pack is fairly straightforward with Xcode, but I'm not sure how to bundle it with an app created with AIR.Is there any current way that AIR supports bundling iOS App Extensions when creating an ipa? Hi, I get an error from itunnesconnect by an email like this:Invalid Signature - Make sure you have signed your application with a distribution certificate, not an ad hoc certificate or a development certificate. Verify that the code signing settings in Xcode are correct at the target level (which override any values at the project level). Additionally, make sure the bundle you are uploading was built using a Release target in Xcode, not a Simulator target. If you are certain your code signing settings are correct, choose "Clean All" in Xcode, delete the "build" directory in the Finder, and rebuild your release target.Once these issues have been corrected, go to the Version Details page and click "Ready to Upload Binary." Continue through the submission process until the app status is "Waiting for Upload." Dear Friends,Greetings! iam creating an app with Adobe Air for IOS and SQLite, I have list of buttons here, After a certain period, I want to disable a particular button. I can compare system date and make it disable that buttons. Its working fine. But if the user changed system date before that expiry date, how can I track and control?, User knows his expiry date all the time, so he can change system date one day before his expiry date and make that button to enable. Hello,I have a problem with development of a little game for Android with Animate CC.I have a scrolling background with platforms and a button with "touch event". Every time i click on the button, the game become slow for 1 seconde even if the function 'touch event" is empty.
