My application crashes in iPhone 6+ and 7, working without crash in iPhone 6 and 5 devices. Crash is happening only in physical devices but no crash in same configuration remote testing device. I tested in multiple iPhone 6+ and 7 devices using remote testing device provider. App use ANE for map, facebook and beacon.App was crashing in previous build with 22 SDK so updated sdk to 24 but same problem.* App is available in app store, I will send app details as direct message.
we have an app the works fine on android devices but crashes in ios after reaching the memory cap. A little bit about the app: it has a preloader which loads bunch of other swfs included in the .ipa itself. Each swf has high quality images which are quite big. Editing the app at this stage is impossible as it would consume too much time so we are thinking about finding a fix from the memory side. The swf's have as3 in them so we are using loader context with domain specification to load them. They are working fine so far as far as ABC is concerned.Is there a way to free up memory every time a new frame is loaded. I'm asking this because the whole app is just clicking buttons to load next frame or go back to previous frame. Any suggestion or help would be appreciated.NOTE: I used xcode's instruments to check out the memory usage, it looked something like this:

I'm getting a "... app is damaged and can't be opened" alert, presumably from MacOS Gatekeeper, when trying to open an app on which I modified the Info.plist file.I simply added this :CFBundleURLTypes, CFBundleURLName and CFBundleURLSchemesI tried editing the plist with a texte editor and Xcode, same error occurs. If I remove the above items from the plist, the app opens normally. The app is signed correctly, am I supposed to sign the plist as well ?Testing with : MacBook Pro, MacOS 10.12.2, AIR SDK 23, Captive runtimeAny ideas ?
YAY! Someone finally did this. Allows use of installed Chromium Browser. It's a few hoops to jump through to get it to work, but if you need a modern web browser in your AIR application. Hi,I am a teacher who has developed an app that streams video tutorials to mobile devices. The app has been around for a while and was originally built in CS6 using AIR SDK 20. More recently I have moved to CC and published the app using CC and AIR SDK 23 and 24 (including beta 24.0.180).The app now crashes on IOS first access after installing the app. When you open the app up again, it opens but will crash when pulling up the control centre, pulling down the notification bar, clicking on the home button or minimising the app with a pinch.I have stripped out the code and have isolated the problem to video streaming within the project. The issue is replicated using the xml and swf file found here: Dropbox - Adobe (everything has been stripped from the project so I appreciate that no video will play - didn't need it to play to replicate the issue). The app has been installed on iPad Air with IOS10 and iPad Mini 1 IOS9, but my students have also experienced the issue on iPhones running IO
Hello,I have a problem which appeared suddenly. I have a fla file for an air project, which contains a library with diferent graphic assets and all the extensions (ane and swc) settings, splash screens and so on. Today the fla file suddenly opened as flash file and all the air settings disappeared. I have a backup of this file which is working at first opening. When I attempt to save changes to that file, close it and reopen it again, the air settings just vanished...Someone knows this? Maybe I am missing something but right now I really dont know what to do...Thanks in advance.
I've got problem with readBytes image from cameraRoll (ios device, android didn't check). The size of the image is too big. Cricut Craft Room is not working because of an issue with Adobe AIR. I get an error message saying that the installer was damaged and I can't download the Cricut Craft Room software for Windows 8.1. Cricut customer service talked me through all of the troubleshooting that they had and nothing is wrong on their end. They told me to contact Adobe. Any suggestions? I am using a PC and have Windows 8.1.
I have some 'older' hardware that requires I install 21.0.0.215 to run the associated software Circut Craft Room. Cricut have sent me a work round involving uninstalling and reinstalling from your archived version 21. The software downloads but will not open, I'm trying to install on a Mac note book running 10.12.1. Cricut say I cannot be uninstalling correctly and to contact Adobe for advice. This is the trouble shooting page circuit sent me to with the method to use to fix Cricut Craft Room Troubleshooting | Cricut Help Center The error message I get when trying to install the new hardware mentioned is firmware issue. Not the error that they mention in the link, I have not had it installed previously but have since tried and succeeded in installing onto a Windows machine albeit I had to downgrade the adobe air to version 21.Yours hopefullyHelen
Installing an app compiled with AIR version 23 works properly on my iPad with iOS 9.3.1 but fails when I attempt to install it on my iPhone 6+ using iOS10.0.2. Same app used to install to both devices. When I install via the connected iOS device link, using Adobe Animate, I get Application Verification Failed error. If I try to install it directly via iTunes, it starts to install, then fails with no notice. I created a fresh provisioning profile and a newly created p12 cert on iMac. I have validated the UDID is correct.. Animate CC is running on a Win 10 PC.I appreciate some help, insight...Thanks, muchJon
Curious because the process of getting an AIR app on the app store is a train wreck...Have you ever tried to debug in the iOS Simulator?Have you tried to create a simple app and submitted it for all devices without any problems?Could you watch someone finish with the process without opening up the browser in confusion? I doubt it...Everything about the process in unintuitive with errors that just read: "Invalid Input". It's a shame because AS3 is easy to make something but nearly impossible to actually get something up on the app store.Every SDK has more problems associated with it. Your constantly hunting for obscure workarounds. Why on earth is it so hard to do anything? Has the team considered to clean this process up at all?
I need the older version of adobe air 21 reinstalled on my computer but it wont install. It keeps showing the error about administrator. I am the administrator to my own computer. Please help I have a PC windows 8.1
Hi,I'm facing a problem ,My iOS app built with ad-hoc, and it can run on my iPhone(9.3.4) & iPad(8.1.3) well ;But when I try to submit the app to Apple Store, it's rejected by Apple.The message recvied from Apple as below :「We discovered one or more bugs in your app when reviewed on iPad running iOS 10.2 on Wi-Fi connected to an IPv6 network.Specifically, your app was still unable to load any contents after launch. We've attached screenshot(s) for your reference.」the message of the attached screenshot is :「Context3D not available! Possible reasons: wrong renderMode or missing device support.」( the message shown on screen when the statg3D instance of Starling listens an ErrorEvent.ERROR event) and renderMode already set to directDevelop enviroment of the app: Adobe AIR SDK 24 Starling 1.5.1Does anyone knows why it happens ? I can't even reproduce the problem show as the screenshot.Thanks!
Hi.We were recently trying to package our application with latest AIR SDK 22.0 and submit to iTunesConnect. We already has a version of the app in App Store which packaged with AIR SDK 16.0. Since 22.0 we came by following errors while uploading through Application Loader followed by no-upload at all. 1 package(s) were not uploaded because they had problems:/var/folders/1b/8qtyjnc154jfq_5bysrxcht40000gv/T/55EA97A7-5A0A-4540-A715-C0B46D63044F/1099109346.itmsp - Error Messages:ERROR ITMS-90296: "App sandbox not enabled. I am using AIR SDK 24, -swf-version=35 and targetSdkVersion="24" but CameraRoll requestPermission() method always triggers a PermissionEvent with status "denied". Deleting the app doesn't help. Any ideas what could be wrong?
We're attempting to use the new permissions functions in AIR 24 to access files on "external" storage on Android. However, when we call requestPermission() on a File object, it throws error #1069 (property not found). We're using AIR 24.0.0.181 (a custom build provided by Adobe for a specific fix that didn't make it in time for the AIR 24 release). Hi there, We want to enquire on Adobe Air Licensing. The official email license-air@adobe.com provided rejects emails, we have tried a few emails & all cannot send through emails to the official adobe air email address, even it was listed on the Adobe website as the way to contact them on this. The email bounce back error message is as followed: "The group license-air only accepts messages from people on its allowed senders list, and your email address isn't on the list." It seems like that the adobe email has restricted who can send them email. Please advise how we can be listed under the group & be able to send email to license-air@adobe.com ? Hi there, I work with a team on multimedia programmes. We are planning to use the Adobe Air for touchscreen multimedia for a gallery, integrating with Open Exhibits. The gallery is open to only invited guests. The gallery also has no internet or sharing to environment out of the space. The air programme will be installed on a few stations in this gallery & not to be distributed online / to public or any intranet. May I check if this instance is covered under the general Adobe Air Runtime Distribution License Agreement? Or we need to apply for a license? If so, how can we apply it?
