Printing disappeared

Have purchased Adobe Suites with most of the writing programs and also separatly purchased Adobe Acrobat 8 standard. 
But 
for 3 weeks it has become impossible to print from any Adobe products. Instead the file that I would like to print appears in a Adobe sub program where files can become stored for later use BUT never on a Windows, Mac or iPhone Xs Max there are any text in menu or any function symbol that starts printing. Very annoying when making our accounting and when we are connected to our lokal bank and needs to print any receipt on demand. 
What can we do?
