i have a question about keyword hierarcy

i hope i can write my quest clear enough so any one else understand my problem and can produce a answer to overcome my problem . :-)

system os win 11 bridge 16.03.21

ive used Bridge for a long time but somewhere along the version changes my keyword managment got changed. probably by my own “fault”. ive set up my keyword originally as:

Maingroup; sub group: subsubgroup:

like General Family which is every one also cousins grand dads and such and in there my own family (gezin) as dad wife childeren.

once i had it sorted out as : when i checkbox one of the kids it also checkboxed “Gezin” automaticly but not the higer seated main Family. or maybe it did also the main. can't remaber anymore.

doesn't matter.

because i totally screwed my database in keywording ive made myself the task to redo all keywording of the Rawfiles side cars XMP files and then replace all exported Jpeg's where then all new keyword hierarcy will be written in. yes alot of work but it wil get me a better organised archieve and all rawfiles are reexported with better version of denosing and such.

i wil work my way back from present towards first jpegs without any rawfile source file. and export my new jpegs in a new clean folder next to the old one. that way i can keep track of my progress. 

What i am searching for is:

How do i manage hierarcical keyword strings?

i like to re organise the system, ( yes thats a pain in the bud) 

main groups:

houses:

subgroups al adresses i lived.

setup: when i click on “house nr02” it also check automaticly [houses]

( now i have to click both boxes to get that.) but in some i have automatic  but i can't figur out why it does that not to all but for some.)

An other thing i like to discard a main keyword “overige” but keep the Sub keywoord which would be becomming a mainkeyword but to my surprice deleting was deleting the hole string of keywords including the one's i would like to keep...:-S hence the problem what got me thinking of redo all.

how can i "drag” a sub keyword out a group to make it a new main or drag in under a new string.

( i suppose this is imposible because of file data with a keyword in there of the old structure which wil be popping up when selected and show this in my keyword tree.)

So thats why i like to make a fresh start:

And how can i change/make behaviour of auto check main keyword.(thus manage existing behaviour in keywordstrings. )

i have some main keywords which would be NOT autochecked when i check a subkeyword.

like [Type]

which is a groep of image type like  schips and boats, car, panorama, nightshot, sunset, beach and dunes, blacknwhite it is seated in [type] so i can find it quicker but it doesn't need to autocheck [type] as keyword. ( when  iam searching a image i don't need [type] to show. only panorama or schip or nightshot.
