Animate Warp tool grid change in color and arangement

After chatting with Adobe tech support, it seems this is just the revised version of the warp tool. It looks so different. Instead of a grid of neat triangles, the lines either radiate in all directions from the anchor point or zig zag back and forth between points of a drawing. It seems harder to control than the triangle grid of the old version of warp. I'll try to adjust, but we can always revert to older versions.

start with a new fla.  do you see the same problem when trying to use the warp tool on something you create in that new fla?
