Asset warp tool causes adobe to crash everytime i click on my image. PLEASE HELP

Im totally new to this so ive been watching a ton of tutrorials. Trying to follow along so i can put some bones in my 2d cartoon character. Everything goes smoothly until its time to click on the warp tool so that i can see the character mesh. I click on it and the character mesh is visible but once i try to click again and apply some bones i get a loading notification, it gets stuck at 60% andddd  animate crashes every time. I have a good macbook with 32 gigs of ram, 2.3 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9 and AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8 GB. Is my hardware not up to the task ? or is there somethingelse wrong. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanx everybody

    that hard ware should be ok, but if there's a lot in your animate file, maybe not.

     

    to test, create a new fla and save it to a new directory.

    copy your character (only) to the new fla

    close your old fla

    repeat the warp tool clicks and see if animate hangs/crashes.
