Classic Tween Distortion

I created a walk cycle using Classic Tweens and everything is fluid except for the feet which flip around and wildly distort in between key frames. I'm somewhat new to the program and have no idea why this is happening. Any help?

First, let me say very cool animation. I think what's happening is there's a symbol messed up in your tweens so you may need to redo those tweens for the feet. Are you using layer parenting because this could prevent these issues in the future I'll put a tutorial on how to use their parenting? Hopefully, this helps you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwsBuEMABG8

Thanks! I was using parenting, but I decided to adjust the size of my character's shoes after finishing the animation and it got messed up. Even after redrawing the feet and creating new symbols, and reanimating the walk cycle it still came out wonky. I ended up animating each foot frame by frame because I couldn't make it work. Thanks for the link!

Glad I could help. Hopefully you don't have this issue again.

create a new layer for one of the distorted tweens and recreate the problematic layer in the new layer buy copying keyframes from the problematic and pasting into the new.  don't add any tweens until all the keyframes in the new layer are added.

then check the new layer keyframes to confirm they all are undistorted.  now add a tween at the same locaiton where the problem occurs in the problematic layer and check if the distortion is recreated.

hide the problematic layer and test.

if all's well, add other tweens and test when needed.

Thanks for the help! I tried recreating the symbols and animating from scratch but the classic tweeting was still messed up. I ended up animating each foot frame by frame and that worked.
