Exported cartoon is completely bugged, graphics not playing, camera not in sync

Hey there,

I've tried everything to get my animation exported out of Animate - the export process to Media Encoder is completely fine... but the result of the export is absolutely shocking.... graphic symbols not playing, character rigs bugged/broken, camera is not even close to what I've actually filmed.

I've tried exporting the animation into smaller chunks (0-500 frames, 501-1000 etc), which seemed to work for the first 1500 frames, then I get to a particular character in a scene and the character rig is completely broken.

This isnt the first time this has happened over the years but it's becoming a complete joke now - putting hours upon hours into making content and time and time again the same issues. The newer versions of this software seem to be more buggy than the previous.

I just dont understand how the published version can be so far from what I've created within Animate.

If anyone has any suggestions or has experienced similar issues, I would really appreciate any help with this matter.

Thanks,

Luke

Hi Luke,

Most of the features introduced after the name change from Flash to Animate are quite unreliable.

The first thing to try before attempting to work around the various bugs is to export a PNG sequence.

If you have not done this before, I have written detailed step-by-step instructions here:

Hope this helps!

Hi Nick

Yeah, you're absoluetely right they are unreliable!

A big thank you anyway for taking the time to suggest exporting a PNG sequence, it worked perfectly and I actually felt in control of my animation!

I'll definitely be doing this eveyrtime going forward, much better!

Thanks again mate,

Luke
