I just need to clarify, I don't know if I am cursed or what, but I always tend to encounter problems with this program. I was making some adjustments for my animation and tried to export it, but I noticed all my scenes were just a white background (except for one) it was here that I discovered that all of my scenes was moved out of the canvas. (I didn't move them) I tried everything to get them aligned but still no luck. I don't know what to do. I have used a camera in all of my scenes except for the one. But I don't know how to redo this (I closed the program down before discovering the error) I am afraid that I have to start over again. Can someone help me. When I try to move the all the layers at once. The camera don't want to follow the rest of the layers. Is there a way?

Hi, I have a quick question. I know this is off-topic compared to my question above. My movie is in 1080, 768 (don't know why I started making my movie in this small size) (upon exporting it is expected to be pixelated) Is there a way to bump up the stage resolution to achieve better quality while keeping the camera position. So I don't have to redo it yet again. 🙂

Yeah, that's the thing, if you change the stage resolution with an active camera on stage it will shift its position irreversibly, not even Undo will fix it.  This is a bug the team is well aware of.

Fortunately there's a workaround for it.  Follow these steps:

  1. Leave your stage at the original resolution.
  2. Go to Export Video/Media and in the pop-up window set your desired render size (ex. if you want a 4k video input 3840 x 2160px)
  3. In format select QuickTime (don't select H.264 or any other).
  4. In preset select Default (Animate). That means the video will be forced to render in Animate skipping Media Encoder entirely.
  5. Hit export. That will give you a true 4k MOV file.
  6. If you need an MP4, take that MOV and drop it into Media Encoder, convert it to H.264 and you should get a proper 4K MP4 video now.

Quick note: If you have bitmaps in your project those can't be upscaled beyond their original resolutions. Pixels will be stretched to fit 4k but they won't look any better than they did in your document.

UPDATE: Apparently have ANIMATE CC changed all my camera X, Y coordinates. I am telling you that I am cursed. I haven't even touched those settings since I started to be exact.

Did you change the stage size at some point in your project?

I have redrawn some gloves on my character's hands and tried to export it in a higher HD than the original was. That's the only thing I have touched if I go back on my steps, can't recall that I changed the stage size. 🙂 But I fixed my issue.
