you cannot start a trial with non-current adobe apps.  if you had a subscription, you can use older cc apps (including cc 2018).

at least, that's what adobe says about my first sentence.  the 2nd sentence i know to be true.

now, you could test that first sentence by installing cc 2018 and trying to run it.  i suspect you'll be prompted to sign in (to a paid or trial account) when you start cc 2018.  if you start a trial, you can then use cc 2018, however, you may be charged immediately and may not be able to cancel the trial because you started the trial with cc 2018 instead of the current cc 2022.

ie, you'd be assuming a risk to try and start a trial with cc 2018.
