Question

Objects keep moving themselves after i log back on

Hello again, sorry to be so needy on this forum but i keep running into problem after problem with my adobe animate cc program. The problem i'm having now is that symbols seem to be mis-aligning themselves after i've already put them into place. For example, I'm using keyframe caddy for mouth animations and had originally moved all the mouths/lower faces into the correct position where they correctly line up with the rest of the face, however after i've finished animating a conversation, I go back to see that some of the mouths are off center so they lines don't connect with the rest of the head like they should.  I once experianced a similar problem when i was using the free transform tool after double clicking the symbol to move it and realized i was changing its set place in relation to other objects so i stopped that and though i had the problem solved. Now however, i'm having to use free transform to go back and correctly align the symbol(after only clicking them once and not going into the actual symbol) after each few seconds of animating. They work then but i don't want to have to keep going back.

I hate to ask but also is there simpler program for 2d animation out there? I've learned alot about using animate cc but it seems to require so many little technicalities that keep throwing me for a loop. All i want to to is get my project finished.

I hope your problem got resolved, but thank you so much for posting this because when you talked about fixing your original/similar issue, that helped me fix mine! Thank you so much!

This is late but for anyone else. Don't use objects. Instead break them up and use groups. Objects nested inside things seem to go out of alignment easily when they are moved or copied and pasted.

i've never used keyframe caddy and i've never seen that problem.  i suspect they're related.

Keyframe Caddy is a crude piece of software, but I doubt that it could be responsible for the behaviour, described by the OP.

With Animate having native Frame Picker, I can't imagine why anyone would use the Caddy which was popular years and years ago, but the picker should perform much better, covering all Caddy functionality.

I'm at a loss what may be the reason for the offsets, but it could be bugs related to Layer Parenting if things are parented, display scaling, camera bugs or something along the lines which messes up the coordinates. The latest versions of AnCC are full of hidden surprises.

It could as well be user error, if he's moved the content inside symbols.
